We’ve all heard of loved ones back home falling ill and unable to get care because of high medical bills. We feel aggrieved and hurt but most of all, we feel powerless to provide help from abroad. Often, the money we send acts as a band aid, which needs to be replaced again and again. HealthRemit is a platform enabling you to directly pay and connect your loved ones to a health plan, starting with LeadWay Health Strawberry Plan.
WHAT IT COSTS
Sending health protection back home
This is how the premium is calculated. As you can see, the basic premium of the LeadWay health plan is made up of an amount that covers the costs for basic health services and medicines. If you buy for more than one person, you will receive a 10% discount on the individual premium cost for every additional purchase.
In case of a pre-existing chronic condition, for example hypertension, diabetes or asthma additional costs will occur to cover the costs of medication. This amount is set at N50,000. It makes no difference if you have one or more chronic conditions, the additional amount for pre-existing chronic diseases remains the same.
* The premium of the primary health plan and additional costs for existing chronic care conditions are subject to annual review.

Your main beneficiary receives a request to fill in an online form in a secure environment. Done? You will be notified, and your dependents' health cover will be activated.
